Follow this guide to create discount codes that attract attendees and increase ticket sales. Set each detail, code name, internal name, discount value, usage limits, and active dates, to align with your event goals and target audience. Create a Discount Code Start by clicking on 'Apps' located in the sidebar. Click the 'Discounts' App. Note: Click the ‘Pin’ icon to add your favorite apps to the sidebar. Click the arrow to expand the list of your events, then select the one for which you want to create a discount. Click on 'Create discount'. 2. Add Code Name Code: Make sure it's unique; short codes are easier to promote. 3. Add Discount Internal Name Internal Name: Give your discount an internal name. This is only visible to you. 4. Add Discount Value Value: Choose 'Percentage' or 'Fixed amount'. A 'Percentage' discount takes off a percentage of the total price (like 10% off). A 'Fixed amount' discount takes off a specific dollar amount (like $10 off). Select the option that best fits your discount strategy for the event. Type the discount value, either as a percentage or a fixed amount. 5. Add Maximum Discount Uses Limit the number of times this discount can be used in total: By checking this box, you’re setting a cap on how many times the discount can be applied across all customers. This is useful to control the overall number of discounts issued. Once the box is checked, a field will appear where you can enter the exact number of times the discount can be used. For example, if you enter 50, the discount will only be valid for the first 50 uses. Limit to one use per customer: Check this box to restrict the discount to one use per purchase. Leave it unchecked to allow customers to apply the discount to multiple tickets. 6. Add Discount Active Date and Time Time Zone: Select your time zone to ensure the discount is available at the correct times in your country. Start date: Pick the date when the discount will be available for customers to use. Start time: Choose the time you want the discount to start. Set end date: Check this box to set an end date for your discount. If you don’t want to set when the discount ends, you can leave this box unchecked. An end date specifies the last day the discount will be available. After this date, the discount will no longer be valid, so it’s useful when you want to offer a limited-time promotion. If you check the box, select the end date and time when the discount will end. This is when customers will no longer be able to use the discount. Click on the 'Save discount' button in the top right corner to save all your discount settings. FAQ How do I create a new discount code? This lets you set a discount for customers who don’t complete their checkout. 3. Set Discount Value Choose whether you want the discount to be a percentage or a fixed amount: For a percentage discount, you might set it to 10% off the total. For a fixed amount discount, you could set it to $5 off. After selecting the type, enter the discount value. 4. Set Discount Expiration You can choose how long the discount will be valid after the first recovery email is sent. To create urgency and encourage customers to complete their purchase, you can pick 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours. Click 'Save' in the top-right corner to apply your changes. FAQ What if I don’t want to include a discount in the recovery emails? No worries! Just leave the discount feature turned off, and the app will still send reminder emails without a discount. What if a customer starts checkout again but still doesn’t finish? If a customer clicks a reminder email and re-enters checkout but doesn’t complete it, the recovery sequence will continue as planned, with follow-up emails until they finish their purchase or receive the final reminder.

Swapy lets you offer flexible ticket options, allowing attendees to swap their tickets for different seats or ticket types within the same event. Set up “Swap Pairs” by selecting a base ticket and pairing it with a swap ticket. You can set limits on swaps, allow unlimited swaps, or even enable reverse swaps so attendees can switch back if needed. In this article: Create Swap Pair 1. Create Swap Pair Start by clicking on 'Apps' located in the sidebar. Click on the ‘Swapy App’. Note: You can pin your favorite apps for quicker access by keeping them at the top of your list. Click the arrow to open the list of events in your organization. Then, choose the event for which you want to create a swap pair. Click 'Create Swap Pair' in the top-right corner to get started. Click on the ‘Select Ticket' field under 'Base Ticket'. Choose the ticket type that you want attendees to be able to swap out. This is the original ticket they’ll start with. Check the box next to the ticket you want to set as the base ticket, then click 'Confirm'. Swap Pair: Click on the ‘Select Ticket’ field. Pick the ticket type that attendees can swap their base ticket for. This will be the new ticket option they can choose. Check the box next to the ticket you want to use as the swap pair, then click 'Confirm'. Swap Amount: Decide if you want to limit the number of swaps. To set a specific limit, leave 'Unlimited' off and enter the allowed number of swaps in the box below. Unlimited: Turn on the 'Unlimited' toggle if you want to allow unlimited swaps without tracking stock. Reverse Swap: Toggle 'Enabled' to let attendees switch back to their original ticket type. This option creates a “reverse” pair, allowing them to swap between the two ticket types. Once you’ve set everything up, click 'Confirm' at the bottom to create the Swap Pair. FAQ What happens when the swap limit is reached for a ticket type? Once the swap limit for a ticket type is reached, attendees won’t be able to swap into that ticket anymore. However, you can adjust the swap limit anytime to allow more swaps. If a ticket price changes, will it affect current swap options? No, swap pairs are linked to the ticket type, not the price. Any price changes won’t affect the swap options available to attendees. What if an attendee swaps for a ticket that later sells out? Can they swap back? If 'Reverse Swap' is enabled, they can swap back as long as their original ticket type is still available. If it’s sold out, they’ll need to keep their current ticket. Can I limit swaps to a specific timeframe, like only before the event? There’s no automatic cutoff for swaps, but you can manually disable swap availability anytime, like a few days before the event begins.
